Sketchbook

Sketchbook is not a drawing program. It is Jan Bláha's open-source 3D playground, built on three.js for rendering and cannon.js for physics, and what you do in it is move around a sandbox island. The character runs, sprints, jumps and rolls with momentum that carries rather than stopping dead.

The other half is vehicles. A car, a helicopter and an airplane sit on the island and you can get into any of them, switch seats, and fly or drive across the map. A free camera mode lets you leave the character and look around. There is nothing to win; it is a technical demo you play with.

How to play Sketchbook?

Get used to the character's momentum before touching a vehicle. Take the car for ground trips and the plane for distance; the island is bigger than it looks. Use the free camera to line up a landing before you try one.

Controls

Desktop: W, A, S, D to move, Shift to sprint, Space to jump, F to enter or exit a vehicle, C for the free camera, mouse to look. Vehicles use the same keys to steer.

Sketchbook unblocked

Sketchbook runs right here in the browser with nothing to install, so it plays on school Chromebooks and other locked-down networks.
