BitLife

BitLife is a life simulator played entirely through menus. You are born with a name, a country and a set of stats for happiness, health, smarts and looks, and every press of the age button moves you one year on. Between years you choose what to do: study, get a job, date, buy things, commit crimes, emigrate, and deal with the random events the game throws at you.

There is no losing beyond dying, and the interest is in how one life reads by the end, from the school years through careers and family to old age. The version on this page is the Unity browser port of the mobile game; it keeps the same stat bars and menu flow but not every activity from the app.

How to play BitLife?

Read the stat bars before each choice; low happiness and low health are what end a life early. Take the education path in the early years, since most well-paid careers check for it later. When a random event pops up, the options are rarely neutral, so pick with your character's stats in mind.

Controls

Desktop: everything is done with the mouse. Click Age to advance a year and click the menu tabs at the bottom to reach jobs, relationships, activities and assets.

BitLife unblocked

BitLife runs right here in the browser with nothing to install, so it plays on school Chromebooks and other locked-down networks.

Can I play BitLife on mobile and desktop?

Yes. It is a menu game, so a mouse or a finger both work; the port scales to phone screens.
