Monster Tracks

Monster Tracks is a two-input monster-truck game made in Fancade. Each level is a short voxel course of hills, ramps and drops; you accelerate to get over them and the truck's weight does the rest. Flip onto the roof and the level restarts, so the game is about landing on the wheels rather than about speed.

Levels are numbered and unlock in order, and a level picker lets you return to any you have cleared. There is no shop or upgrade system; the truck you start with is the truck you finish with, and the difficulty is entirely in the courses.

How to play Monster Tracks?

Approach a crest with just enough speed to clear it; the truck rotates in the air according to what you press, so tap gas to bring the nose up on a long drop and tap brake to bring it down. Big jumps are almost never required; roll over the top when you can.

Controls

Desktop: right arrow or D to accelerate, left arrow or A to brake and reverse. Touch screens: tap the right or left side of the screen.
