Color Pencil Run is a bright 3D runner where your character sprints down a track with an oversized pencil in hand, and the whole game is about keeping that pencil as long as possible. Pencils of your color scattered along the track add to its length, while blades, sharpeners and other obstacles slice chunks off it. Reach the end with a long pencil and you draw a bigger, more valuable picture at the finish.

The runs are short, which is a big part of the appeal. Each level is a straight sprint you can finish in well under a minute, so a mistake never costs you much, and you can retry a level immediately to see if a slightly different line gets you a longer pencil at the end.

You are not alone on the track. Rival runners race alongside you, and the results screen at the end of each level ranks everyone by how much pencil they had left, so the game turns into a race as much as a dodge-the-obstacle test. Finishing first with the longest pencil is the real goal, not just surviving.

Between runs you spend the coins you have collected on new pencil types and character skins. The unlocks are cosmetic, but there are enough of them that the shop gives you a reason to keep grinding out levels once you have the hang of the movement.

Because the track scrolls forward automatically and you only steer left and right, it is a very easy game to pick up. The skill is in reading the track ahead: spotting where the free pencils are, judging which gaps between blades your current length can fit through, and deciding when to give up a few pencils rather than risk a bigger cut.

How to play Color Pencil Run?

Steer your runner side to side to scoop up pencils of your color and slip past anything sharp. Watch the length counter as you go: the longer your pencil, the harder it becomes to squeeze through tight gaps, so plan your line a few obstacles ahead instead of reacting at the last second. At the finish line, whatever length you have left decides your drawing and your score, so protecting the pencil in the final stretch matters more than grabbing one more pickup.
