Marble Run 3D is a downhill marble race. You pick a marble painted with your country flag, drop onto a long wooden track lined with black-and-yellow guard rails, and roll for the finish line against a pack of rival marbles. The track twists, dips and splits, and the whole field jostles for the racing line the entire way down.

Speed comes from the slope, so the game is about steering rather than acceleration: take the tightest line through each bend, stay off the rails, and hit ramps square so you keep your momentum. Contact is allowed and encouraged. A well-timed nudge sends a rival skidding into the rail or clean off the edge, and a bump at the wrong moment does the same to you.

Winning races earns coins, and coins buy upgrades that make your marble heavier, faster or better at surviving hits. There is a challenge mode for practice, where you can learn a course without a crowd of opponents shoving you around, and a flag menu covering well over a hundred countries and territories.

Beyond flags there are patterned skins, from neon and kaleidoscope designs to seasonal ones such as a Halloween set, and later tracks add hazards such as fire jumps and chomping monsters that can swallow a marble whole. Courses get longer and more crowded as you progress, so the early races are a gentle warm-up.

It plays fast and each race is short, which makes it easy to run a few between other things. If you enjoyed rolling-ball games like Going Balls or the physics racing of Wave Rider, this scratches the same itch with a competitive twist.

How to play Marble Run 3D?

Choose a flag, then steer left and right as the marble rolls. Hug the inside of corners to keep your speed, and only swing wide when a rival is about to hit you. When you catch another marble, angle into it from the side so you push it toward the rail instead of hitting it head-on, which slows you both down. Buy weight upgrades first: a heavier marble wins most collisions. Use challenge mode to memorise a track before racing it for real.

Marble Run 3D was created by OSA Studio, the team named in the Unity build, who also made Ragdoll Chaos. The build here is version 2.10.0 of the game.

Yes. Steering works with a finger drag as well as it does with the keyboard, so phones and tablets are fine in landscape. On desktop and Chromebooks the arrow keys or the mouse both work. It is a 3D game, so expect a short load the first time.
