The Final Earth 2 is a vertical city-builder with a lot more written into it than the first game. You stack a colony skyward on a small world, feed and house it, and steer it through research — but this time there are named scenarios, policies and a large building catalogue behind that.
The scenarios frame a run rather than just setting a difficulty: A New Beginning starts you from nothing, An Interworld City builds toward something much larger, and Computerization asks you to modernise a city using computers. Each one changes what you are optimising for.
Policies are the other half. You can impose Food Rationing, order Smaller Class Sizes, or push Mandatory Overtime, and each pulls one part of the colony up at another's expense. The building list runs from a plain House through the Modern Rustic Home, the Mechanical House and the Alien House, alongside Stone Mines, Botanical Gardens and Refined Metal Factories, with upgrades that state what they do — Rock Teleporters that teleport bigger meteoroids, Computer Chip Factories that work a third faster.
How to play The Final Earth 2?
Read the scenario's goal before laying anything out, because A New Beginning and Computerization want very different cities and a general-purpose tower serves neither well. Use policies as temporary corrections rather than permanent settings — Mandatory Overtime will fix a production gap and then start costing you more than it earns. Take the upgrades that state a percentage before the ones that unlock a new building; the catalogue is large enough that breadth is rarely the bottleneck.
