Vex 3M

Vex X3M is the Vex series on a motorbike. It is not a platformer with a bike skin: the build runs a full Box2D physics simulation, and the bike behaves like one — it wheelies, it nose-dives, and it will throw you over the handlebars if you land at the wrong angle.

So the controls are a vehicle's rather than a runner's. Up accelerates, Down brakes and reverses, and left and right tilt the bike in the air. Getting through a course is mostly about what angle you are at when you land, not about where you jumped from.

The courses keep the series' hazard density — this is still a game where contact ends the attempt and you restart quickly — but every problem in them is now a physics problem rather than a timing one.

How to play Vex 3M?

Tilt the bike level before landing rather than steering it in the air for distance, because almost every crash here is a bad landing angle rather than a missed jump. Feather the throttle on climbs instead of holding it, since full acceleration flips the bike backwards on anything steep. Use the brake in the air — it rotates you forward, and it is the fastest way to correct a back-heavy jump.

Controls

Desktop: Use Up Arrow to accelerate, Down Arrow to brake or reverse, and Left and Right Arrow to tilt the bike.
