Basketball Superstars Unblocked
Basketball Superstars is a one-on-one basketball game with big, cartoon-styled players and a small half-court. You pick a character, face an opponent, and trade possessions: shoot from range, drive in for a dunk, or stop the other player with a steal or a block.
The tutorial covers the three skills in order: move and shoot, dunk, then steal and block. Shots have an accuracy chance that depends on how open you are, dunks are close-range and hard to stop, and defense is about timing a steal when the ball is exposed or a block when the shot goes up.
Single-player runs as a tournament with playoffs. You play through opponents, and the message on the bracket screen says it plainly: win more to qualify. Winning earns coins that go into level upgrades and market items, so your superstar gets stronger between rounds.
There is also a versus mode for two players on the same keyboard, one on WASD and one on the arrow keys, which makes it a proper local two-player sports game rather than just a ladder against the computer.
Built in Unity by Virtual Projects, it has a bright, toon-shaded look and short matches, so a quick game fits in a few minutes.
How to play Basketball Superstars?
Start with the tutorial so the three moves click. On offense, create a bit of space before shooting, because contested shots miss more often; if the defender backs off, take the open jumper, and if they crowd you, go past them and dunk. On defense, do not spam the steal, wait until the ball handler is mid-dribble or turned away, and jump for the block only when the shot is actually going up. Win your tournament games to keep qualifying, and spend coins on upgrades between rounds.
Controls
Desktop: WASD or the arrow keys move your player; in two-player versus, one player uses WASD and the other uses the arrow keys. The buttons for shooting, dunking, stealing and blocking are shown on screen during the tutorial. Touch controls appear on phones and tablets.
