Goods Master is a shop-shelf sorting puzzle. You start with a wall of wooden shelves holding a jumble of groceries, and the job is to tidy it: milk bottles with milk bottles, jam jars with jam jars, apple juice with apple juice, until every shelf holds a matching set and the mess is gone.

The rule that makes it a puzzle rather than housework is that goods come in threes. Line up three of the same item on one shelf and they clear, which frees that shelf for the next thing you need to move. Everything hinges on which shelf you empty first, because an empty shelf is the only working space you have.

Early levels are two or three shelves and a handful of items, and they resolve in a few taps. Later ones stack the shelves into odd overlapping layouts with a dozen products crowded across them, and items hidden behind other items only become visible once the ones in front are cleared, so you are working with incomplete information.

Moves are limited. That is the pressure. Shuffling items around to see what is underneath costs you the same as a move you actually meant to make, so the levels that beat people are usually the ones where they spent their budget exploring instead of planning.

Three boosters sit along the bottom of the screen for when a board goes wrong: they shuffle the goods, pull an item out of the way, or hand you a hint. They are earned as level rewards rather than bought, so there is a real reason to finish a level cleanly rather than scraping through it.

Everything is done with clicks. There is no timer, no keyboard, no reflex element at all, which makes it one of the calmer things on the site and an easy one to pick up and put down between other tabs.

How to play Goods Master?

Click an item to pick it up and click a shelf to put it down. Gather three matching goods on one shelf and they clear themselves. Work towards emptying a whole shelf as early as you can, because free space is what lets you move anything at all, and watch your move counter before you start rearranging things just to look at them. If a board stalls, spend a booster rather than burning the last of your moves.

Controls

Mouse only. Left click to pick an item up, left click a shelf to place it. On a phone or tablet it is the same thing with taps. Nothing is bound to the keyboard.
