Car Machines is a physics driving game where the vehicle you drive is something you put together yourself. You start with a rough machine, roll it over broken ground, and spend what you collect on better parts until it can handle terrain that used to flip you on your roof.

The route is the real opponent. Tracks run over hills, ledges, ramps and gaps, and the machine has weight and suspension, so momentum matters more than the throttle. Lean too far forward on a drop and you nose in; hang back on a climb and you stall out and roll away from the finish.

Coins scattered along each stage pay for upgrades, so a run that ends in a crash is not wasted if you picked up enough on the way down. That loop of drive a bit further, collect a bit more, come back with a stronger build is what carries the game from the first easy stage into the ones that genuinely need a better machine.

The menu splits into Singleplayer, Multiplayer and an Endless Mode, with the last two unlocking once you have put some laps in. Worlds run in order, and each one swaps the scenery and the kind of obstacle you are fighting, from open dirt to tighter, trap-heavy layouts.

It is built in PlayCanvas and runs in the browser with no download, which is why it loads fast even on a school laptop. Progress and coins are kept in the browser, so a session you leave half finished is still there when you come back.

How to play Car Machines?

Hold the accelerator to get moving, and use the left and right controls to shift the machine's weight in the air and on steep ground. On a climb, lean back slightly so the nose stays up; over a crest, tip forward early so you land on both wheels instead of your tail. Brake before a drop rather than during it. Pick up every coin you can safely reach, because the upgrades are what get you past the stages that look impossible on your starting machine.

Controls

W or the up arrow to accelerate, S or the down arrow to brake and reverse, A and D or the left and right arrows to tilt the machine, and R to restart the stage. On touch screens the same actions sit on on-screen buttons.
