Bullet Bros is a physics shooting puzzle where the bullet does the thinking. You get a small number of shots, there are targets standing around a level, and almost none of them are in your line of sight. The shot has to get there by bouncing.

An aiming line shows you the first part of the trajectory and nothing beyond the first surface, so the rest is yours to work out. Wood, glass and steel all behave differently when the round hits them: some of it shatters and lets the bullet through, some of it stops the shot cold, and some of it sends it away at an angle you have to picture before you fire.

The targets are full ragdolls, which is where most of the entertainment comes from. A hit does not just tick a box, it drops a body down a ladder or into water or off a roof, and a single well placed ricochet taking out two of them at once is the thing the whole game is built to produce.

There are well over a hundred hand built levels in the build, moving from a single easy angle in a plain room out to layouts with pipes, ladders, crates, water and moving parts to work around. They get properly hard, and because your ammunition is limited, a level you have half solved usually has to be restarted rather than brute forced.

Weapons and character skins unlock as you clear levels, so there is a small reward loop under the puzzling, and progress is saved locally so closing the tab does not wipe you back to level one.

It is quick to pick up, silent enough to play anywhere, and the levels are short, which makes it a good one for a five minute window rather than a long sitting.

How to play Bullet Bros?

Look at the level before you aim. Work out which surface is going to send the bullet where you need it, because you will almost never have a straight shot at anything. Aim with the guide line, fire, and watch how the round comes off the first surface, since that tells you what to adjust. Glass breaks, metal bounces, wood absorbs. Count your shots and restart early rather than wasting the last one on a guess, and look for the angle that takes two targets with one round.

Controls

Mouse to aim, left click to fire. Taps and drags do the same thing on a phone or tablet. The keyboard is not used for aiming or shooting.
