Blumgi Merge is a merge game from Blumgi, the studio behind Blumgi Bounce, Blumgi Slime and Blumgi Castle. You buy slimes, drag two matching ones together to make a stronger one, and your squad of sword-swinging slimes marches through dungeons full of monsters and treasure chests.
The board has a limited number of slots, so merging is not optional: every spawn takes a space, and the only way to keep growing is to combine pairs into the next level. Slime damage climbs steeply with level, from single digits at the start to numbers in the millions much later, so one well-merged slime does more than a board full of small ones.
Between merges the slimes fight on their own. Monsters are lined up dungeon by dungeon, each with its own health, and clearing one pays out coins that go back into buying more slimes or upgrading. A dungeon cleared screen moves you on to the next, and the game saves your slime layout and progress in the browser.
A castle sits alongside the dungeon run and can be upgraded with your coins, and crowns mark the milestones you have hit. The tutorial walks you through the first merge, after which the loop of buy, merge, clear and upgrade carries itself.
It is an idle-friendly game: you can leave the slimes to chip away at a dungeon while you decide what to merge next, or play it actively and keep the board cycling as fast as you can afford.
How to play Blumgi Merge?
Tap the buy button to spawn a slime, then drag it onto another slime of the same level to merge them into the next tier. Keep the board from filling up: when every slot is taken you cannot spawn, so merge early and often. Watch the monster's health bar; if your slimes are barely denting it, spend on a few more spawns and merge up before pushing on. Coins from cleared dungeons should go into higher-level spawns first, since the damage jump from one level to the next is large.

Desktop: Click and drag a slime onto a matching slime to merge, and click the on-screen buttons to buy, upgrade and restart. On touch screens, drag with your finger.
